Cheetah Conservation Fund

Cheetahs are one of the most fascinating animals and have the distinction of being the fastest animal on land.  Sadly, the world's population of cheetahs has dwindled to about 10% of what it was 100 years ago.

Southern Africa accounts for approximately one-third of the world's population of cheetahs.  Although located in South Africa, the Cheetah Conservation Fund is working across all of Africa recognizing the necessity to act quickly and intentionally.

The CCF leverages a holistic conservation strategy that is foundational to success in saving the cheetah and its ecosystem. The team works to develop best practices that benefit the entire ecosystem upon which the cheetah depends. CCF’s programs address the concerns for wildlife populations and the human communities that share the landscape.

The Global Alliance of National Parks is honored to partner with the Cheetah Conservation Fund to help invest and protect cheetahs.
